- 1 pound ground turkey or beef
- 1 small sweet onion
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 small head cabbage
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook for about 5–6 minutes until nearly cooked through.
- Push the turkey to one side; add remaining oil and diced onion. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, then add carrots, garlic, and ginger. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, then add cabbage, soy sauce or tamari, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cover; cook on medium-low for 12–15 minutes.
- Serve over cooked white rice if desired and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
