  • 1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, (room temperature)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, (sifted)
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, (room temperature)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, (room temperature)
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • Chopped pecans for garnish
  • Cinnamon sprinkling for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flours, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. Chop peaches into small pieces and set aside.
  4. Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy in a large bowl using an electric mixer.
  5. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
  6. Gradually mix in buttermilk until combined.
  7. Gently fold in dry ingredients until just blended; then add chopped peaches.
  8. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for about 80 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
